Lash Extensions

Lash Extensions Looks and Techniques

Classics, Hybrid, and Volume lash extensions are three different techniques used to achieve various eyelash looks. Here’s a breakdown of the key differences between these three types:

Classic Lash Extensions:

Technique: In classic lash extensions, a single individual extension is applied to each natural eyelash. This results in a 1:1 ratio, meaning one extension per natural lash.

Look: Classic lashes provide a natural and subtle enhancement. They add length, definition, and curl to the lashes, mimicking the effect of mascara.

Ideal Candidates: People with a normal to abundant number of healthy and strong natural lashes are suitable for classic lash extensions. Those who prefer a natural look and don’t necessarily need extra volume might opt for classic lashes.

Hybrid Lash Extensions:

Technique: Hybrid lashes are a combination of classic and volume lash techniques. They involve applying a mix of individual extensions and handmade volume fans to the natural lashes.

Look: Hybrid lashes offer a balance between the natural effect of classic lashes and the volume of volume lashes. They provide more fullness and dimension compared to classic lashes while still maintaining a somewhat natural appearance.

Ideal Candidates: Hybrid lashes are great for individuals who want more volume and a slightly bolder look than classic lashes but aren’t looking for the maximum volume of volume lashes.

Volume Lash Extensions:

Technique: Volume lashes involve attaching multiple ultra-fine extensions (often referred to as “fans”) to a single natural lash. This can range from 2D (two extensions per natural lash) to even 6D or more.

Look: Volume lashes create a dramatic, full, and voluminous effect. They are ideal for those who want a more glamorous and eye-catching look, with significantly increased density and darkness.

Ideal Candidates: Volume lashes are suitable for individuals with sparse natural lashes who desire a bold, dense, and intense lash appearance.

In summary, the main differences between these lash extension techniques are the number of extensions applied per natural lash, the resulting look, and the ideal candidates. Classic lashes provide a natural enhancement, hybrid lashes offer a middle ground between classic and volume, and volume lashes deliver a striking and voluminous look. When deciding which type of lash extensions to choose, it’s important to consider your natural lash characteristics, desired outcome, and personal preferences, a consultation with our professional lash technician with expert advice will guide you to choose the best set for you.

Different techniques to the lash extensions application that suit you!

Each lash look application technique creates a distinct appearance by altering the way eyelashes are styled and positioned. Here’s a breakdown of the differences between natural eye, open eye, cat eye, and doll eye lash application techniques:

Natural Eye Lash Look:

The natural eye lash look aims to enhance the lashes while maintaining a subtle and understated appearance. This technique involves applying lashes evenly across the lash line, focusing on enhancing the length and thickness of the natural lashes. The result is a soft and effortless look that adds definition without appearing overly dramatic or obvious.

Open Eye Lash Look:

The open eye lash look is designed to create the illusion of larger, more awake eyes. This technique involves applying lashes that are longest at the center of the lash line, gradually decreasing in length towards the inner and outer corners. The longer lashes at the center of the eyes help to lift and open up the eyes, making them appear wider and more inviting.

Cat Eye Lash Look:

The cat eye lash look is inspired by the winged eyeliner style and aims to give a flirty and alluring appearance. In this technique, longer lashes are applied to the outer corners of the eyes, creating a subtle winged effect that mimics the shape of a cat’s eye. This style emphasizes the outer edges of the eyes, adding a sense of drama and sophistication.

Doll Eye Lash Look:

The doll eye lash look is characterized by its focus on the center of the lash line, giving the eyes a round, doll-like appearance. This technique involves applying lashes that are longer in the middle of the eyes and gradually shorter towards the inner and outer corners. The result is a wide-eyed, innocent look reminiscent of a doll’s eyes.

It’s important to note that the effectiveness of these techniques can vary depending on factors such as individual eye shape, lash length, and personal preferences. The choice of lashes, their length, thickness, and curl can all be adjusted to achieve the desired effect. Our Professional Lash technician will suggest one application of these techniques to complement various eye shapes helping individuals to achieve their desired eye appearance, whether it’s a natural, open, cat eye, or doll eye lash look.

Popular way to start…

Starting with Classic Lashes: Classic lash extensions involve attaching a single extension to each natural lash. This provides a more natural and subtle look. It’s a great choice for those who are new to lash extensions and want to get accustomed to the feeling of having extensions.

Transitioning to Hybrid or Volume Lashes: Hybrid and volume lash extensions offer a denser, fuller, and fluffier effect. Hybrid lashes combine classic and volume techniques, while volume lashes involve attaching multiple lighter extensions to a single natural lash. These options are ideal for those who want a more dramatic and glamorous appearance once they’re comfortable with lash extensions.

Consideration of Natural Lash Health: The health, strength, and thickness of your natural lashes play a significant role in determining which type of extensions you should go for. If your natural lashes are fragile or sparse, a lighter option like classic or hybrid might be a better choice to avoid causing stress on your natural lashes.

Addressing Lash Line Gaps and Thinness: If you have gaps in your lash line or naturally thin and sparse lashes, volume lash extensions can be a game-changer. Volume lashes can fill in those gaps and create a lush, full look that classic lashes might not achieve.

Desired Final Look: The type of lash extension you choose depends on the effect you want to achieve. If you’re looking for a subtle enhancement, classic lashes are the way to go. If you’re after a bold and dramatic appearance, volume lashes can deliver that.

Personal Style and Comfort: Ultimately, the best lash extensions are the ones that suit your personal style, preferences, and comfort level. Lash extensions should make you feel confident and beautiful, so it’s important to choose a style that resonates with you.

It’s essential to consult with our professional lash technician who can assess your natural lashes, discuss your preferences, and guide you in selecting the right type of lash extensions. Keep in mind that the health of your natural lashes should always be a top priority when making your decision.

Specialised Facial Laser Treatments

Why Choose Facial Laser Resurfacing Specialised treatment?

Xlase Laser is a non-ablative treatment, which means that the laser will not remove the surface layer of the skin, so no down time is required. The laser will deliver heat, deep into the dermis, bypassing the top layers of the skin (the epidermis), without affecting the surrounding tissue.
Xlase resurfacing Peel and Diode Laser can treat the deep and superficial layers of the skin, effective for the treatment of specific skin issues.

The effects of laser on the skin:

Forced cell renewal process to resurface the skin, smoothing out the appearance of the skin and shedding any impurities.
Increased Level of Oxygen in the skin, that makes the skin look brighter and more radiant.

Stimulates collagen production to fill in unwanted skin imperfections such as fine lines or wrinkles.

Improves circulation and lymphatic flow.

Immediate skin tightening effect.

Reduces the appearance of hyperpigmented spots, especially post-acne marks.

Dries the Acne source at sebaceous gland level to dry and eliminate bacteria.

To make the laser treatment more successful with visible results, our Xlase resurfacing facial treatments are done in combination with the cliniceuticals products Rejuve, together with the use of the specific Alpha Peel Mandelic Acid. Mandelic acid resurfacing peel promotes the cell renewal process at the epidermal layer (surface layers of the skin) and stimulates the formation of collagen between dead cells, detaching them from the skin.

Xlase skin resurfacing treatment can also be done in combination with Micro needling treatments to achieve maximum results.

Rejuve Products, are not like any other skin care, they are prescription strength products formulated by an expert biochemist, aesthetic physician, and their teams. They created these high performance and high concentration formulas with active ingredients using a specific technological strategy called nanotechnology. Nanotechnology makes the products penetrate different levels of the skin, due to different molecular weights, thus acting on the different levels of the skin with maximum effect, where specifically needed.

Xlase Facial Laser Resurfacing Peel Procedure for Rejuvenation

What makes skin age quicker?

Sun radiation | Pollution | Lack of sleep | Stress | Malnutrition | Tobacco | Extreme Temperatures

The visible signs of aged skin are:

Lines and wrinkles
Loss of elasticity and firmness
Redness
Spots and Pigmentation
Loss of Radiance
Uneven texture and roughness
Dry Skin
Dehydration
Thin Skin

For a rejuvenating effect, the laser treatment heats the hydration found in the skin, causing the heating of collagen, the protein present in the skin responsible for elasticity. This results in the immediate contraction of the fibres, thus showing an immediate effect of skin tightening. Subsequently, the skin produces new collagen to act as a long-term filler of the fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in improved skin texture.
As the laser targets hyperpigmentation spots, the destruction of melanin accumulation leads to lightening of the skin, resulting in an improved skin colour.
The destruction of porphyrins found in blood haemoglobin leads to a clearing of capillaries and redness as a general effect, calming the skin sensitivity.
Improves circulation and lymphatic flow.

Immediate skin tightening effect.

Increased Level of Oxygen in the skin, making the skin look brighter and more radiant.

Xlase Facial Laser Resurfacing Peel Procedure for Pigmentation

Laser targets the specific area of pigmentation because the laser is absorbed only by cells containing an excessive concentration of pigmentation. This causes efficient pigmented cell destruction, while leaving the surrounding tissue undamaged.
Before treating pigmentation, during consultation, the therapist will discuss the visible pigmentation on the skin, to understand the nature, as not all, over-pigmented skin can be treated with laser.

Pigmentation can be of various types.

Overproduction of Melanin leading to darkening of skin and formation of brown spots

Types of hyperpigmentation: Age spots / liver spots | Freckles | Sun spots | Pregnancy mask | Post inflammatory spots.

What causes Hyperpigmentation?

Disorders that cause inflammation: Sun exposure | Hormonal changes | Stress | Heredity | Acne | Botched skin treatments. Particularly hyperpigmented skin disorders must first undergo other treatment before being treated with Laser treatment. This is discussed with the professional skin therapist during consultation.

Xlase Facial Laser Resurfacing Peel Procedure for Acne and Oily Skin

Acne happens when pores in the skin fill up with dead skin cells, oil and bacteria, which eventually become inflamed and burst. When this happens in the deep layers of the skin, all infected matter disperses into the deeper tissues, resulting in even bigger lesions.

Treatment of Acne with Diode Laser
Penetrates deep into the skin to reach the sebaceous gland
Energy is absorbed by the tissue, destroying bacterial activity
Targeting the source of acne related problems
Dries and eliminates bacteria

Treatments Application:

The ideal frequency is every three to four weeks, to work simultaneously with the natural skin cell renewal process. Treatment can be repeated as desired or as per the skin therapist’s recommendation, depending on the goals to be achieved. Treatment is not recommended if the skin is to be very exposed to the sun during the hottest summer months.

Pre and Post Laser treatment recommendations are the same as those for hair removal laser treatments. Special care must be taken when the skin is exposed in sunlight. Make sure that a facial sunscreen is used every day in the morning.

Laser Hair Removal Treatments

Here at Essence of Beauty, we have upgraded our laser equipment to give you the best in laser technology! This enables you to have an efficient and painless experience, to have a hair-free body, and no longer be concerned about body hair.

With the gold standard, safe, medical-grade Diode and Alexandrite laser, the laser treatment is totally comfortable! Especially given that the tip is frozen when the lasers are active, hence cooling the skin. Our Professional Therapists select the perfect treatment for you, using the dual laser. This permits the emission of a single wavelength or both at the same time, dosing the desired percentage of each one and ensuring an even more effective hair removal treatment. Motion speed covers all the areas efficiently, from fine light brown hair to the darkest black!

With all these benefits, our laser hair removal treatments are the most gratifying and feasible choice for anyone who wants to invest in themselves and is looking forward to smooth and hairless days.

How many sessions do you need for laser to be effective?

Our Diode and Alexandrite dual laser treatments are effective on fine, light brown to dark hair and on any skin type. Laser is ideally applied when the hair is in its anagen phase of hair growth. It is for this reason that the treatment must be repeated with an interval of at least one month; not all hairs are in the same phase of growth at the same time. The number of treatments needed to achieve hair reduction varies. Most clients experience a marked reduction in hair growth after four to six treatments. Additionally, other factors such as hair density, age and hormones fluctuation can affect the results of your treatments. It would be fair to say that you will require at least four treatments. In addition, although laser hair removal is touted as a permanent option, it is not guaranteed, and you may need occasional touch-up treatments. Laser hair removal treatments will not work on any non-pigmented (white/grey) hairs in the treatment area.

When can I have a laser treatment?

After any type of hair removal method.

As a pre-treatment, the area to be treated should not have:

  • Been exposed to sunlight for at least five days
  • A tan
  • Had any sun tanning treatments
  • Been treated with body creams for five days
  • Been treated with any perfume or body products containing alcohol
  • Had any exfoliation of the skin, for two days. Note: if a chemical peel has been applied, this skin
  • requires a down time of four weeks before laser can be applied.

These guidelines also apply for a minimum of five days after the treatment too.

Additionally…

  • The hair on the treatment area must be skin shaven, except the face. This is required 24-48 hours prior to treatment.
  • Other skin and health conditions will be discussed prior to treatment.
  • A consultation is obligatory.
  • Ideally, light colour clothing and non-reflective jewellery is worn during the treatment.

Why is shaving prior to treatment important?

When having the hair shaved 24 hours before the treatment, the laser treatment is more successful.  The laser is not lost in the hair that is out on the skin, but is effective on the hair inside the skin; the laser is a treatment that is attracted to the chromophores (the colour) of the hair. Therefore, the laser is absorbed only where needed, making the sensitivity more comfortable.

What happens just after the laser treatment?

Once the treatment is successful, the hairs are laser zapped and still in the hair follicle. Hair will still follow the natural growth process and therefore, within 7-10 days many of the noticeable treated hairs will just shed off, while others that don’t, will need further treatment together with the new growth. Following the hair growth cycle, scheduling a follow-up session, and following the guidance of our Professional Therapists, will make the treatments mostly successful.

The skin must be protected from the sun, especially in the first two weeks. Apply sun protection on the treated areas that will be exposed to the sun.

Can I remove the hairs in between laser treatments?

Ideally, you do not apply any hair removal treatment other than laser treatment. However, if you really need to have hair-free skin for a particular event, shaving is suggested from the 10th day, post-laser session.

What is the frequency of the treatment sessions?

Laser hair removal treatments are carried out by professionally trained therapists who will decide when treatment is needed. These are carried out depending on the treatment results and the understanding of the professional therapist applying the treatment. Usually, initial treatments are about four weeks apart and then extended, depending on the results.

Is the laser painful?

Our gold standard, safe, medical-grade Diode and Alexandrite laser have the tip frozen when lasers are active to cool the skin, this makes the laser treatment totally comfortable. A patch test can be organised for you to test and try the treatment.

What are the post-laser treatment recommendations?

Clients are warned not to have a bath or shower with very hot water or attend a sauna or any hot or very warm temperatures. This includes exposure to the sun, especially to the treated areas for 14 days post-treatment. It is very important to wear sunblock and repeat application over the treated area according to the SPF factor chosen. For example, SPF15 X4 = to repeat every 1hr / SPF50 X4 = 3.5hrs. when sitting in the sun, unless shade is continuously present.

Is laser only for hair removal treatments?

Our laser treatments are also used to do specialised face treatments:
For pigmentation, to treat uneven skin colour.
For anti-ageing, for cell renewal and skin tightening.
For acne and post acne scars, to reduce inflammation, bacteria and cell renewal.

Semi-Permanent Make up (SPMU)| Permanent make up (PMU) | Facial Cosmetic Tattooing

It is called semi-permanent make up just because, to maintain optimum results, it is necessary to adjust the treatment once a year for eyebrows and once every 1 or 2 years for lips and eyes.

The permanent make-up pigments that are used during the treatments do not contain acrylic resins and are hypoallergenic; produced according to strict European safety standards.

The most common and most requested treatments are the total or partial definition / re-construction of the eyebrow arch, the pigmentation of the lips and the eyeliner.

Many are confused by the different techniques, styles available and the best colour to choose. We always recommend that you get professional advice from the semi-permanent make-up artist. This ensures that everything is explained to you, and that the semi-permanent make-up suits you perfectly, prior to attending an application appointment. Our experienced, semi-permanent make-up artist, Therese Farrugia, has been performing these treatments for the past twelve years. During this time, she has attended various courses and techniques with International SPMU academies to ensure she is updated on the latest and best techniques to give the best to her clients. Therese pays special attention to the choice of colour harmony chosen for the treatment, according to the client’s skin complexion, natural hair colour, lifestyle, and age. Her experience, training, skills, and recommendations are discussed at consultation stage. Therese reserves the right to refuse to perform particularly extreme requests or those that do not fall within the canons of beauty set by the international academies attended.

Let our expert advise you on the best colour for you, perfectly suited to ensure the effect you want to achieve. We have a vast range of colours, we are sure you will find what you are looking for!

Microblading

Microblading is one of the leading treatments in the beauty industry. Phibrows is the microblading style we use at our salon, applied by our Phibrows Artist, Therese Farrugia. This is a semi-permanent, manual, eyebrow drawing technique, drawn with a specific tool that creates very fine lines. These lines look like hair, based on the shape of the eyebrow and the face, achieving perfect symmetry. This technique is ideal for someone who has had no previous semi-permanent make up on the area and would like to have very natural looking eyebrows. This technique is applied in two sessions; the second session is usually applied after six weeks.

Hair stroke eyebrow Technique / Powdered Brows| Ombre brows

The ideal semi-permanent make up is when the technique applied is as natural and invisible as possible. Making it look natural is a must for us! The hair stroke technique is ideal to fill-in the natural sparse hair and the powder brows effect is a shading technique that is ideal for those who are used to filling in their eyebrows with pencil. If our SPMU artist feels that a combined technique is a better choice for you, it can be applied too. Past applications may restrict the desired effect. Also, during consultation, skin type is discussed and explained in order to help choose the best and most adequate technique.

The Eyebrow Treatments: Firstly, measurements and drawings are carefully applied with specific tools and trained experience. This ensures the best symmetrical shape for the client’s morphology face requirements, using the same colour chosen, so that the client has a visual idea of the result. Using sterilised, disposable tools and needles, the artist creates micro cuts on the skin, while manually inserting pigment into the epidermis (superficial layer of the skin), during Microblading or with a machine for powder brows or hair stroke technique. A treatment could take between two to three hours to be completed. The inserted pigment is much darker during the first 5-7 days, after which, the intensity of the colour decreases by as much as 40%. The healing process may last up to 42 days, after which, a new amount of pigment is re-applied as required in the second session. In cases where the skin is oily or problematic, the process is repeated several times. Pigment retention depends on skin oiliness; a higher concentration of oil in the skin reduces the duration of the pigment. Perspiration and sun exposure also effects pigments. Average pigment retention is 10-12 months. After this period, touch-ups are required to refresh the colour. If the skin is too oily, corrections are performed after 6 months. Pre and post treatment process recommendations are to be followed as suggested by the artist to ensure a successful result. Please read more in the following topics for more related information.

Lip Contour Semi-permanent make-up

This treatment is applied to correct the lips, making them symmetrical, as well as enhancing the look of the lips, all whilst reducing the appearance of ageing lines. Lips will look more full, natural, and beautiful! During consultation we will discuss the colour that would most suit you, from our vast range of top-quality pigments. The lip is applied in two sessions and a touch up session is required twelve to twenty-four months afterwards.

Treatment Process: The first step in lip treatment is to draw in the contours with a pen, using the same pigment colour chosen. This provides a guideline during the treatment and serves to correct any irregularities in the shape of the natural lip. When the desired contour is prepared, the drawing is applied using a semi-permanent machine which deposits pigment into the skin, gently, to avoid injury to the skin, while being stretched without pressure. The patches of skin that do not absorb the right amount of colour can be touched up. The final effects are expected within six weeks. After this period, corrections are possible during the second session. Pre and post treatment process recommendations are to be followed as suggested by the artist to ensure a successful outcome. Please read more in the following topics for more related information.

Eyeliner Semi permanent make-up

Bold technique and powder technique are the two options for semi-permanent liners, depending on the desired effect. During the consultation, the artist will analyse and discuss the best style for you and the thickness of the liner, according to the aesthetic criteria. The eyeliner is applied in two sessions and a touch up session is required twelve to twenty-four months afterwards. The drawing of the liner is drawn from the outer eye, towards the inner corner of the eye, serving as a guideline during the treatment. When the desired liner is prepared, the drawing is applied using a semi-permanent machine which deposits pigment into the skin, gently, to avoid injury to the skin while being stretched without pressure.

Pre-treatment Process

There are some cases where it’s good to postpone semi-permanent make up treatment. In some, it is completely impossible.

At Essence of Beauty your safety is our priority!

Before the actual treatment, at consultation, you will be asked to sign an informed consent form. After the artist has explained: How the treatment will take place, what precautions you will need to take in the first week after treatment and why your personal and sensitive data will be collected.

For a successful outcome of the treatment

In the eyebrow area: In cases of eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, acne or any damage to the skin, it is recommended to apply a specific cream for seven days pre-treatment, to eliminate the issue, if possible, to be able to have the treatment done.

For the Lips: Whether the client is prone to Herpes or not, it is necessary to undertake all measures to prevent its appearance. The artist will recommend the ideal pre-treatment procedure because due to the stimulation procured on the area during the treatment, Herpes could be triggered. This will prolong the healing process of the lips post-treatment; therefore, it is ideal to take immune support supplements prior to treatment.  Dry lips should be treated for several days prior to treatment. Alcoholic beverages, beverages containing taurine and excessive consumption of caffeine at least 24-48 hours prior to treatment should be avoided

About Medicines…

Some medicines interact in terms of colour rendering in the skin; for example, they can cause an eyebrow colour to not maintain its original colour, becoming particularly grey, thus causing an unpleasant result. These medicines are: antibiotics, cortisone, eutirox, diabetes medicines taken at high levels. Many other medicines can interfere in this way, but with much more moderate changes in colour and therefore easily corrected by the professional.

Other medicines interact with the duration of treatment; in these cases, permanent makeup will remain for much less time inside the skin. These drugs are: vessel dilators, accelerating metabolism supplements, hormones.

Taking medicines like the contraceptive pill does not affect permanent makeup, so it is possible to have semi-permanent make-up done.

Undergoing Medical treatment…

If you are undergoing medical treatment, it is always ideal to wait for the conclusion of this period and obtain written consent from the doctor, authorising the treatment of semi-permanent make-up.

This category may include: chemotherapy, radiotherapy, intake of immune suppressants, cortisone treatments.

Allergies…

If you have an allergy to latex or nickel, please inform us. Allergies to dyes, food allergies and allergies to dust do not prevent you from having semi-permanent makeup done.

 For Beauty Treatment…

30 days is the time necessary for the skin to rebuild and heal completely. It is always recommended that you wait until the skin has healed completely before subjecting it to a subsequent operation on the same area.

If we talk about fillers, it is good practice to wait 30 days after the last filler before undergoing a permanent makeup session and vice versa; wait 30 days after the last permanent makeup session before having fillers in the same area.

The same rule also applies to Botox and thread treatments.

For more invasive treatments, such as lasers or chemical peels or lifting, it is necessary to wait for 2 to 5 months.

Is Semi permanent make-up safe?

At Essence of Beauty our semi permanent make up is the best in terms of quality and results achieved. Our operator has had special training to analyse your phototype so you will not face unpleasant colour changes and safety concerns as explained hereafter.

At Essence of Beauty, we use internationally known and reliable product brands, that have been produced in cooperation with the strictest European standards.

Having your semi permanent make-up done by our Artist at Essence of Beauty means relying on a professional who has the experience, who was trained and approved by internationally recognised Phi Academy and Biotek which is ISO 9001 certified, and who only uses their products… this means that you are always safe!

Rest assured that when you undergo a treatment at Essence of Beauty, it is performed by a Malta licenced, semi-permanent make-up artist, and in full compliance with hygiene standards approved by the Healthcare Standards Directorate Superintendent of Public Health Malta according to EU requirements, with CE certified equipment tools and pigments that are aromatic amines, synthetic resins, parabens, heavy metals free and not tested on animals.

The details are what make the difference and we strongly take care of the details!

Is it Painful?

Semi-permanent makeup is usually a very well tolerated procedure.

Pain perception is obviously totally subjective and therefore it is hard to specifically quantify it.

What is sure is that the delicate dexterity of the operator and the quality of the needles used contribute to making the treatment even more painless.

Low quality needles, not sharpened, create greater friction when entering and leaving the skin, resulting in a sensation of pain. We use the highest quality and therefore, the operator will only use needles designed to be non-invasive on the skin, effective but not painful!

As a consequence, even the post treatment redness will be minimal, allowing you to immediately return to your daily activities.

Nowadays, the eyebrow treatment is totally painless. Indeed, customers even find it relaxing and fall asleep after a few minutes. This is especially compared to treatments done in the past where the operators used to work on the deeper layers of the skin.

The eye treatment is slightly more annoying. Clients usually describe it as a nuisance rather than pain; often comparable to the feeling of having a grain of sand in the eye. There might also be some swelling post treatment.

The lip treatment is somewhat annoying in the beginning, but nothing that a woman cannot withstand! Customers usually compare it to the pain of waxing or laser epilation. Pre and post treatment recommendations are to be followed well to ensure a successful result.
